The drive from Ashburgh to Kitsen was 3 hours long and Maya’s solemn mood made it seem even longer and drearier than it needed to be. She drove in silence with her occasional sniff keeping her company. The roads were emptier than the usual and Maya thought to herself that it was like the entire world was reflecting her current state of mind ‘all alone in the wilderness’, Maya cruised along in no rush with a sigh here and there. It became too much to handle for her and she pulled over on the side of the freeway to just release all that had built up inside her since her last episode and she cried. The anger she felt towards herself grew into a slight hatred and she cursed herself aloud, “This is your fault! You caused this on yourself!
