~Good Morning~

The sun awoke and so did I,
And there peeping through the window was the clear blue sky.
Without a second thought, I quickly turned,
And there he was, still asleep, peaceful and calm.
As I stare my heart races, thoughts fill my head,
"So lucky am I, so wonderful is he and how he loves me for me."
His gentle breathing, the background music to my thoughts.
The sunlight bouncing off his gorgeous face,
Gave him the halo he so truly deserves.
My Heaven on Earth, for me and only me is his heart reserved.
From the second I turned, my smile never departed,
Slowly, gently, my fingers caressed his cheek,
A mere deep breath was his response and this touched me, this pleased me.
His eyes opened, and as though a chain reaction a smile followed,
"Hi, my love," his sweet, compassionate yet deep and strong voice released.
"Good morning," I responded fingers still gently placed on his cheek.
Seconds passed and all we did was stare,
"I love you baby," he suddenly said, so normal yet so rare,
My mind claimed I know, his words cradled me and my heart poured out through speech, "I love you too big head."
We smiled, a kiss was on the way, I closed my eyes and embraced the sensual touch his lips gave mine, it is eternal, it is a promise from him to me and me to him, to never hurt you intentionally, to love you, to care for you and to always be faithful to you. It was assurance that we will never part or so it would seem...
